I seem to have fallen off the band wagon of posting my monthly networking event suggestions, but new year and we’re back! If your new year resolution included growing your business (because shrinking your business hopefully wasn’t a goal…) getting off your butt and out to some networking events is a GREAT way to accomplish that! Here’s a couple events I’m attending (and speaking at!) and some other opportunities you may find to be a good fit!

I don’t usually cross the bridge for NWEN Breakfasts but this month they’ll be talking with the fine folks at Zaarly, a company I think is pretty rad and has some great people behind it! If you’re looking for creative ways to sell a product (or service) Zaarly is worth checking out. And if you are a startup looking for inspiration, NWEN is the place to be!

eWomen Network Luncheon

As most of you know I’ve been a big fan of eWomenNetwork for a LONG time and the speakers scheduled in 2013 do not look to disappoint! If you can’t join the luncheon but want to check out eWomen let me know, they have smaller events throughout the month.

If these events don’t suit your fancy, thats fine. I also recommend checking out NWEN’s event calendar and the Puget Sound Business Journal’s events. Neither of them pay me to say it, I really think they do good stuff. And if you and your dog are out enjoying the sunshine let Hank & I know, we may just come join you!

Networking with Yellow Dog Consulting in December!

It amazes me how many networking groups take December off. I know, I know. It’s busy. You’ve got year end work to get done, you’re finishing up projects, but also, we all still have budgets to be met, sales goals to meet (or exceed) and we need to get out of the office and network! This year don’t dismiss that holiday party or open house too quickly.

This month I have a few company holiday parties, friends holiday parties and an alumni event to attend. AND I’ll be out and about networking as usual. Unfortunately I did NOT make the Geekwire Gala last night, which is THE big networking holiday party of the season, but I will be at these events this month plus other meetings and you know, client work, this month!
